Here are some frequently asked questions about our services. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us— we’re happy to assist!
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
At Beyond Skin Med Spa, we offer personalized consultations with our skilled professionals to help determine the best treatments for your unique needs. We take the time to assess your skin type, concerns, and goals and create a customized treatment plan that will deliver the results you’re looking for. Whether you’re looking for anti-aging solutions, acne treatments, or body sculpting, we have a wide range of options that can be tailored to you.
How should I prepare for my treatment?
Preparation varies depending on the service you’re receiving. In general:
- For injectables like Botox or dermal fillers, we recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications and alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- For laser treatments, avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks before your treatment.
- For facials or microneedling, avoid using any strong exfoliants or retinol products a few days before your treatment.
We will provide specific instructions based on the treatment you’ve booked.
Is Beyond Skin Med Spa suitable for all skin types?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of treatments suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, dry skin, oily skin, and combination skin. During your consultation, we will assess your skin’s specific needs and customize treatments that will work best for you.
Is skincare really necessary for men as well?
Absolutely! Skincare is important for men’s skin just as it is for women. Men’s skin can often be more oily and prone to irritation, especially due to shaving. Regular skincare helps to prevent breakouts, reduce signs of aging, and maintain healthy, hydrated skin. Proper skincare also protects against environmental damage and promotes overall skin health.
What is the cancellation policy?
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment.
Failure to do so will result in being charged the full service fee.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
